Lotka / Spoiler for the car model given in the name.
The elements are made of professional, extremely light and durable ABS material.
Unlike laminate, ABS is resistant to mechanical damage and weather conditions.
Very easy to assemble and varnish.
The elements are ready for painting.
Differences between fiberglass and ABS:
COSTS: If you want to save some money, remember that ABS parts are 20% to 40% cheaper than fiberglass parts. (Fiberglass parts are more expensive due to the cost of the material base and additional work related to their construction.)
SERVICE LIFE: The service life of any part is difficult to determine due to many factors, such as the way the parts are installed, the environment in which it is used, the storage method, etc.
The fiberglass part will have a longer life in most situations. ABS plastic parts, if they are properly fitted, are not excessively stressed and painted with professional paints, will last longer than the average car owner will have.
DURABILITY: Again, the glass fiber is a bit more durable than the ABS plastic. But how long is this part? If the ABS plastic is properly installed and painted, its durability may be extended and it may be worth additional savings for the car owner.
DAMAGE PROCESSING: If the product was made of stronger fiberglass, damage could cause more costly and timely repairs. ABS is more prone to cracking and does not transfer to more expensive sheet metal.
ARE THE REPAIR ?: Both ABS and fiberglass are repairable. The fiberglass portion can withstand some more damage and still be considered "repairable", but reconsider the costs. Will the repair of fiberglass parts be more expensive than replacing it with a NEW, cheaper, plastic element made of ABS?
INSTALLATION: There is no difference in time and installation technique between the two materials.
PAINTING: Both ABS and fiberglass parts require painting for "finishing" and UV stabilization. The life of the ABS part is significantly extended thanks to the fitting, grinding and professional priming and painting of the parts.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
For vitality: USE PLASTIC ABS PLATES
To extend the service life: USE GLASS FIBER
For standard durability: USE PLASTIC ABS PLASTICS
Under extreme conditions: USE GLASS FIBER
Extreme heat or cold: USE GLASS FIBER
For fast and economical replacement: USE PLASTIC ABS PLATES
